"Grace will Lead me Home" by Katherine Valentine

Grace will Lead me Home by Katherine Valentine
FIC VAL available at Beaufort, Bluffton, and Hilton Head

"Valentine, a Jan Karon-style writer, captures the comedy and tragedy hidding behind the seemingly boring small town life in a New England town. The focus is on community members praying hard and working harder to help each other. Mrs. Valentine and her husband, frequent visitors to Beaufort, hope to move here soon."

Large Print available at Beaufort, Bluffton, and St. Helena
Audio available at Beaufort and Hilton Head

"The Miss Julia books are always fun to read, and this one is not disappointing. This time the spunky, quirky, southern matron is fighting an evil Yankee developer who wants to tear down the beloved courthouse and put up "tacky condos". Added to this is the mystery of some men of the town, who have either disappeared or started acting crazy! The usual group of hilarious southern characters who confide in Miss Julia could be anyone's neighbors. Like Ross's other books, this one is entertaining and hard to put down!"
