"Fortune's Fool" review by Teri Horn

Fortune's Fool by Mercedes Lackey
FIC LAC (Beaufort, Bluffton)
NewBook Section

"Ms. Lackey provides a new twist to traditional fairytale characters in this book. This may appeal more to readers looking for a light fantasy rather than aficionados of Tolkien, Jordan, or Eddings. She incorporates many familiar characters: Baba Yagas, mermaids, swan princesses, and fairy godmothers from well-known stories and gives the reader believable, well defined heroes/heroines and villains. A good afternoon's break!"
