"Pushkin and the Queen of Spades" review by Sandra Davis

Pushkin and the Queen of Spades by Alice Randall

Audiobook available at Beaufort

"Very insightful realistic fiction in which the narrator, Windsor, highlights the events in her 5 decades of living that shapes her decisions to protect her son from knowing his father. Language use is exquisite. Imagery is wonderful. Contrastingly, some language is unnecessarily profane. The collision of opposing worlds yields self-acceptance and acceptance of others."
