"Frankly, I found this to be a disappointing effort by Laurens. Within a few pages the couple decide they want to be with each other, then spend the next 100 pages exploring the "taste of her innocent kisses" and wondering how her untortured passion affects him so strongly. Boring. I spent most of the book longing for something better."
